Netflix's The Witcher TV series confirms Triss, Dandelion and other actors

Today Netflix released the makeup video of Geralt from The Witcher TV series, in which Henry Cavill made his debut. Netflix then announced the latest cast and crew of The Witcher TV series, in which British actress Anna Shaffer plays the red-haired Triss.

British actor Joey Batey plays the romantic Dandelion.

British actor Royce Pierreson plays Coconut Milk's old lover Istred (also a warlock).

Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen plays Stregobor, a believer in the Black Sun Curse who created the tragedy of "Blood and Wine".

Australian actor Eamon Farren plays Cahir, a winged knight serving the Emperor of Nilfgaard.

Judging from the cast, the creation of the "Witcher" series is based on novels rather than games. Although Netflix has found some less famous European actors, each of them has extraordinary temperament and every move is a performance.

The live-action TV series of The Witcher will be produced by Netflix, and the story will be adapted based on the first two volumes of the original novel, Sword of Destiny and The Last Wish. The first season will be broadcast in 8 episodes and is expected to be launched in 2019.
