Netflix producer interview: "The Legend of Zelda" may be animated?

According to foreign media THEWRAP, producer Adi Shankar revealed in an interview that "The Legend of Zelda" may be adapted into an animated series.

Yesterday, Shankar posted on Instagram that he is working with a famous Japanese game company to turn one of their games into an animated series. Adi Shankar was a producer in the film "Formation" directed by Joseph Kaan and also starred in the film "Win the Girl".

Nintendo's game "The Legend of Zelda" debuted in 1986. The game tells the story of the hero Link's journey through many hardships to defeat the evil wizard Ganon and rescue Princess Zelda. Over the past 30 years, "The Legend of Zelda" has had 17 sequels and multiple remakes, with global sales exceeding 80 million copies.

But a Nintendo spokesperson said when asked about this matter: We have no comment on this!
