Rumor: Marvel may reboot "Fantastic Four" for 2022 release

According to foreign media reports, Marvel Studios has plans to reboot the "Fantastic Four" movie, and this rebooted version of the "Fantastic Four" movie may be released in 2022. And it is said that Peyton Reed, the director of "Ant-Man", is vying to be the director of the film. He said that the rebooted version will set the story of "Fantastic Four" in the 1960s and will also involve the "Quantum Realm" and "Black Knight".

Marvel is likely to announce the reboot of the "Fantastic Four" movie at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, because before that Marvel has already announced the release dates of three movies in 2022, namely February 18, May 6, and July 19. The release date on February 18 is likely to be "Captain Marvel 2", and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" should be on May 6, so the release date of this "Fantastic Four" reboot is likely to be July 19, 2022.

Is this rumor true? The Disney D23 conference held this summer will also reveal the answer. Marvel Studios confirmed that they will announce the new works plan for the fourth phase at this year's D23 exhibition.
