63-year-old Chow Yun-fat plans to donate all his HK$5.6 billion fortune

According to Jayne Stars, a Hong Kong film website, Chow Yun-fat recently said in an interview that he plans to donate all of his assets, HK$5.6 billion (about US$714 million), to charity. As for why he made this decision, Chow Yun-fat said: "The money is not mine, I am just keeping it temporarily."

Chow Yun-fat said: "My dream is to be a happy and normal person. The most difficult thing in life is not how much money you make, but how to maintain a peaceful mind and live a simple, worry-free life."
