"Star Wars 9" set photos revealed the protagonist and new species of creatures appeared

"Star Wars 9" has been shooting in the UK for a few weeks, and photos of the film have begun to be released. Today we saw a batch of behind-the-scenes photos.

In Star Wars 9, we'll at least see Finn, Poe, and Chewbacca climbing a mountain on an unknown planet, along with some horse-like creatures and a new character played by British actress Naomi Ackie.

Star Wars 9 is expected to be released on December 20, 2019. The film is directed by JJ Abrams and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Billie Lourd. In addition to these old faces, new actors will also join, including Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant and Billy Dee Williams. Among them, Billy Dee Williams will continue to play Lando Calrissian, the owner of the Millennium Falcon before Han Solo. Finally, Carrie Fisher will appear again in Star Wars 9 through the cut footage from The Force Awakens in 2015.

Director Abrams previously directed "The Force Awakens" and has been taking over "Star Wars 9" since September last year.
