"Mulan" live-action movie set photo Liu Yifei half-naked bathing with the male lead

Today, the second day of filming for Disney's live-action version of Mulan, director Niki Caro posted a photo of the set on Instagram, with the caption "CeCe+YoYo". (CeCe refers to Liu Yifei, and YoYo refers to the male lead, An Yosen).

This picture taken from a surveillance camera shows that the crew seemed to be filming a scene where Mulan was bathing in the river but accidentally ran into the soldiers (there is a corresponding scene in the animated version). Judging from the splashing water, it seemed that the soldiers could sense Mulan's panic.

Yesterday, with the release of Liu Yifei's makeup photo for the role of Mulan, the live-action version of "Mulan" officially started shooting yesterday. The director almost simultaneously posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Liu Yifei standing by the water on Instagram, which also corresponds to the reflection scene in the cartoon. Unfortunately, the photo seemed to have been deleted after being on the director's Instagram for less than half a day, but I still want to say in a low voice: Director, please keep updating frequently!!!

The film has a luxurious cast. In addition to the male and female protagonists Liu Yifei and An Yousen, it also invites Jet Li, Gong Li, Donnie Yen, and Cheng Peipei. It is expected to be released on March 27, 2020.
