Michael Jackson biopic "Michael" Reuters photos look too much like the real person

Recently, the Reuters photos of the Michael Jackson biopic "Michael" were exposed. From the photos, we can see that Jafar, the nephew of the lead actor Michael Jackson, appeared on the set wearing a white shirt, black pants and a black tie. His appearance is very similar to the original.

Producer Graham King said: "Jafar's every expression, every dance move, every note is like Michael. His interpretation of Michael is unmatched by other actors. Not only is the appearance similar, Michael's spirit is displayed in a magical way that you have to experience it in person to believe it. His appearance, movements, manners, etc., he is Michael Jackson."

The Michael Jackson biopic will not just be a "praise song", but will present his complicated and controversial life. The film will tell the story of Michael Jackson's debut as a child star and his rise to global idol, but his childhood was not easy, and after becoming famous he was even more controversial due to sexual harassment allegations, and his sudden death caused a sensation.

"Michael" is produced by "Bohemian Rhapsody" producer Graham King and directed by Antoine Fuqua. Colman Domingo plays Michael's father Joe Jackson and Nia Long plays Michael's mother Katherine. The film will be released in North America on April 18, 2025.
