Mark Ruffalo: There will be no standalone Hulk movie in the Marvel Universe

According to Mark Ruffalo, the actor who plays the Hulk in "Avengers" and the Marvel Universe, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has ruled out the possibility of a standalone "Hulk" movie.

He said in an interview at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival that this was something he made clear when he joined the Marvel Universe: "Kevin asked me, 'What do you want to do?', and he said, 'If you had a standalone Hulk movie, what would you do?'. I said, 'Well, I want to take him from a raging lunatic to a full character.'"

"Kevin said, 'Well, we're going to do this over the course of four movies. We're never going to give you a standalone Hulk movie, and let me be clear - I don't mean to burst your bubble ... but that's not going to happen. So, we're going to do this over the course of four movies, how does that sound?'"

Marvel fans should be very clear about what happened after this. The character of Hulk gradually became fuller in many "Avengers" films, and he seemed to have a relationship with Black Widow. As for whether the situation will change after this, Ruffalo said: "As far as I know (no change). We can discuss it further, but I was told it's better not to."

The last time Hulk appeared was in the TV series "She-Hulk", and it was confirmed that he had a son named Skaar. It is not clear when he will appear next time. Although Ruffalo said at the film festival that he will appear in "Captain America 4", the insider of "Variety" refuted his statement.
