The Marvel movie "Captain America 4", officially titled "Captain America: Brave New World", will be re-shot based on new material provided by a new screenwriter. The film was announced to be completed in July this year, but according to the latest Deadline report, the project has welcomed a new screenwriter, Matthew Orton, and he will write "additional scenes and materials" for the reshot segments. The reshoots are scheduled to take place in the spring and summer of 2024. Orton was previously a consulting producer for Marvel's Disney+ American drama "Moon Knight". According to Deadline, the reshoots were originally planned and are a common standard practice for Marvel movies. According to the Vietnamese-Chinese actor Guan Jiwei in the previous Marvel series Loki, Loki Season 2 is the only project that does not require reshoots so far. Therefore, the movie should not have encountered any problems, but only needed to be modified according to the feedback from the top management. Captain America 4 is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2025. |
