Cavill stars in Guy Ritchie's action-comedy 'The Attack'

Henry Cavill's latest film "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" has recently released a trailer. The film will be directed by Guy Ritchie, the director of the Robert Downey Jr. version of "Sherlock Holmes". It is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Damian Lewis, a British historian of World War II, and tells the true and bizarre story of a secret combat unit led by Churchill during World War II.

Movie trailer:

The elite squad, known as the Special Operations Enforcers, was founded by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and used irregular tactics and "ungentlemanly" fighting techniques to fight the Nazis, becoming the basis for modern black ops forces.

In addition to Cavill, the film also has a star-studded cast, including Jack Reacher star Allen Ritchson, Ambulance actress Eiza González, The Gentlemen actor Henry Golding and Mission: Impossible star Cary Elwes. Other cast members include Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and Freddie Fox.

Cavill described the film as "an experience that will stay with me forever" in a social media preview of the film. He said: "The joy built on the set is a joyful place full of laughter, jokes and banter. The attitude and personality of the crew and cast is key. Everyone, without exception, was able to have fun while doing their best work."

This is the second time Cavill has worked with Guy Ritchie, having previously worked together on 2015's The Man from UNCLE.

"The Secret Agent" will hit the big screen on April 19.
