The animation "Alien Monster City" has confirmed the production of a sequel

The production of the sequel to the animation "Dorohedoro" has been confirmed, and the official trailer visual image was released today.

"Alien Monster City" is adapted from the work of the same name by Japanese manga artist Hayashida Qiu. It describes the protagonist Kaiman who was transformed into a lizard man due to magic. At the same time, his memory was lost. In order to regain his human identity, Kaiman and his friend and partner Nikaidou embarked on an adventure.

The animated version of this work was broadcast on Netflix in 2020, produced by MAPPA, and finished in March of that year. Now, after 4 years of waiting, the official has finally announced that the sequel is confirmed to be in production, and the original author, Mr. Hayashida Qiu, is also very happy that the animation series can continue.
