Recently, the second season of Netflix's "The Witcher" released Henry Cavill's Geralt look, which attracted various discussions among viewers on social media. Some of them are from Blizzard developers, including former Blizzard senior vice president Chris Metzen, who believes that he is the best candidate to play Arthas. It all started in September when graphic designer Mustafa Kemal Sezeroğlu posted a homemade poster of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King online, featuring Henry Cavill. Although this poster did not attract much attention at the time, it was dug up again after Netflix announced the look of Geralt in the second season of "The Witcher". As the poster spread, more and more netizens on Twitter believed that Cavill was the best candidate to play Arthas, which also attracted the attention of Blizzard, including screenwriter Christine Golden, co-screenwriter Anne Stickney and Metzen. Unfortunately, the Warcraft movie has not had much of a chance to continue. The 2016 version of the movie suffered a Waterloo, and director Duncan Jones called the experience "very, very difficult and frustrating" in 2018. Recently, there are reports that the Warcraft movie will overturn the 2016 version and be completely remade. I wonder if Superman will have a chance by then. |
