"Wonder Woman 1984" became the most watched movie online in its first week, with most of them being men over 35 years old

According to THR, a foreign Screen Engine survey shows that since "Wonder Woman 1984" was launched on HBO MAX streaming last Friday, the number of viewers in the first week has exceeded the number of viewers in the first week of all streaming movies they have counted this year, and the audience with the highest number of viewers are men over 35 years old.

According to a survey by Screen Engine, 23% of viewers who watched Wonder Woman 1984 subscribed to HBO MAX over the past three days. Of these 23%, 14% said they would continue to subscribe, and 9% said they might cancel their subscription after watching the movie. Among HBO MAX's existing subscribers, 19% said they would most likely cancel their subscription if Wonder Woman 1984 hadn't been available, but might continue to subscribe because of the movie.

Screen Engine's survey shows that "Wonder Woman 1984" has performed well in terms of viewership in all age groups, but it is particularly attractive to male and older users. The highest number of viewers are men over 35 years old, and more than half of the viewers live in the suburbs. After all, theaters in several major markets have been closed, causing more viewers to give up theaters and watch the streaming version at home.
