'Fast and Furious' star Vin Diesel accused of sexual assault by former assistant

According to foreign media reports, Vin Diesel, the male lead of the "Fast and Furious" series, was accused of sexual assault by his former assistant. The incident happened during the filming of "Fast and Furious 5" in 2010.

Foreign media reports:

Asta Jonasson, a woman who worked as Vin Diesel's former assistant, filed a lawsuit against the actor on Thursday, claiming he forced her to masturbate him while he pinned her against a wall in a hotel suite in 2010.

Asta Jonasson claims she was working for the actor in Atlanta, where he was filming Fast & Furious 5, when he took her to his suite at the St. Regis Hotel and forced her into bed.

She asked him to stop and walked toward the door, but he came over and began touching her breasts and kissing her chest, according to the lawsuit. He tried to pull down her panties, and she screamed and ran to the bathroom.

Hours later, Vin Diesel's sister, Samantha Vincent, the president of his company, called Jonasson and fired her, according to the lawsuit.

"It became apparent to her that she was fired because she was no longer useful," the lawsuit states. "Vin Diesel used her to satisfy his sexual desires and she resisted his sexual advances. Ms. Jonasson felt like a piece of trash to be discarded. Ms. Jonasson felt helpless, her self-esteem was destroyed, and she questioned her abilities and whether a successful career required a body swap to advance."

Vin Diesel's lawyer Bryan Freedman released a statement on Thursday afternoon denying the allegations. Bryan Freedman said Vin Diesel denies all of the allegations, which occurred 13 years ago and were made by an employee who had only worked for nine days. He said there is "clear evidence that completely refutes these ridiculous allegations."

After the allegations of Vin Diesel's attempt to sexually assault a woman were exposed, many netizens on X recalled Vin Diesel's "strange behavior" during a media interview in "Ford 3" in 2017. Vin Diesel kept saying to the female reporter, "You're so pretty," "I can't interview her properly," "I'm in love," "I want to marry you," and finally tried to forcefully kiss the female reporter.
