With the end of the Hollywood Writers Guild strike, the live-action series of "One Piece" announced that it would begin production on the second season. The production team shared a group photo of the writing team and wrote: "I visited the writers' room of "One Piece" Season 2. We can't wait to share the exciting adventure stories prepared for you."

The first season of the live-action drama "One Piece" was launched on August 31, and the word of mouth exceeded expectations, with an 83% freshness rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an IMDb score of 8.5 points.

Previously, the manga author Eiichiro Oda hinted that Chopper will appear in the second season. Matt Owens, the screenwriter of the live-action version of "One Piece", also revealed that the theme of the second season is the challenge of leadership. From Luffy's perspective, he now has his crew and is heading towards the Grand Line, and there will be many challenges along the way. This theme will be connected to some other stories and characters.
