Doctor Strange 2 script rewrite to be penned by Loki series producer

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the filming of Doctor Strange 2 has recently undergone changes. The script originally written by Jade Bartlett will be continued by Michael Waldron, the producer of the Loki TV series. Sam Raimi may be the director of Doctor Strange 2, which is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2021.

The "Loki" TV series produced by Waldron is expected to be broadcast on the Disney+ channel in 2021. In November last year, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, said that the plot of the "Loki" TV series will lead directly to "Doctor Strange 2".

Waldron recently served as a producer for the fifth season of "Community" and the fourth season of "Rick and Morty", and also wrote the script of one of the episodes. His colleague Dan Harmon on these two series served as the writer of "Doctor Strange 2", and it was he who introduced Waldron to the crew of "Doctor Strange 2".

There is currently very little plot information available about Doctor Strange 2.
