MindRiot Studios: Plans to film Titanic sightseeing submarine movie

Deadline reported today (September 30) that MindRiot Entertainment plans to make a film about the previous Titanic tourist submarine disaster, and E. Brian Dobbins will serve as co-producer. It is reported that MindRiot Entertainment has also produced a documentary series tentatively titled "Salvged", which mainly tells the life of Kyle Bingham, the mission director of Ocean Gate (Titanic tourist submarine organization company), and centers on his many dives around the world.

According to previous news, Ocean Gate's submersible Titan disappeared when it dived into the wreckage of the Titanic in June 2023. A few days later, the US Coast Guard discovered its wreckage. There were five people on board, including three tourists (each paying $250,000) and the ship's navigator Paul-Henri Narjolet and Ocean Gate co-founder and CEO Stockton Rush. They are all believed to be dead. In July 2023, the company announced that it would "suspend all research and commercial operations."
