Keanu hopes he'll be killed in John Wick 4

Although "John Wick 5" is already in early production, the series's leading actor Keanu Reeves hopes that the killer he plays will be killed in "John Wick 4".

In an interview with Collider, John Wick series producer Basil Iwanyk revealed that Keanu himself did a lot of stunts and was exhausted after filming.

He said: “After the second, third and fourth movie, making those movies was so exhausting and it destroyed Keanu not only physically but emotionally. By the end, he kept saying, ‘I can’t do this anymore,’ and we agreed with him. The guy was a shell of himself because he was working so hard. He said, ‘I want to be completely killed by the end of the movie.’”

However, Iwanyk said they did not fully comply with Keanu's wishes, adding: "We said, you know, we can leave a little margin of 10 percent."

IGN asked Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski during a post-screening Q&A whether John Wick was actually dead, and Reeves played coy, saying, "I mean, I have my own opinion, but I don't know if we should be specific. Let the audience decide."

Director Chad Stahelski added: "I think we just wanted to make John Wick's journey feel complete at the end. We left that decision up to you, the audience."
