The third season of the famous anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero", adapted from the popular light novel, is scheduled to premiere in October. Today, the official announced new information, new art, additional characters and theme songs. Let's take a look.

• "The Rising of the Shield Hero" is a light novel of the same name written by Aneko Yusagi and illustrated by Seira Minami. It has been adapted into an anime and tells the story of an ordinary otaku college student, Naofumi Iwatani, who was summoned to a different world by a book he found in a library. His mission is to be one of the four holy heroes, the "Shield Hero", equipped with a sword, a gun, a bow, and a shield, and to expel the disaster "Wave" that brought chaos to the world.

•The third season of "The Rising of the Shield Hero" will continue the production lineup of the first two seasons, directed by Towa and others, planned and written by Keigo Koyanagi, and music by Kevin Penkin. New characters include the queen Nadia who holds a giant spear, played by Ami Koshimizu, the brother of the slave siblings, played by Kohei Amazaki, the sister played by Yoshimi Ohara, and the mysterious girl Saiin, played by Maria Nagawa. The opening theme song of the third season of "The Rising of the Shield Hero" has been confirmed to be "SIN" by the group MADKID, and the ending theme song will be "Reasons Not to Like You" by Chia Fujikawa.
