1923, the prequel to the American TV series Yellowstone, is the latest TV show to be affected by the US writers' strike. Filming for the second season of the series was originally scheduled to start earlier this month, but has now been "postponed indefinitely". According to NBC Montana, Bill Melvin, director of the Butte Civic Center, said that the producers have contacted him and said that filming has been delayed due to the ongoing strike of the WGA (Writers Guild). He also said that once filming began, the production team would have paid $75,000 a month to use the Civic Center from June to the end of the year. 1923, which stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, was renewed for a second season by Paramount+ earlier this year. |
