The DC superhero movie "The Flash" is about to be released in Japan. Recently, some scientists speculated on the possibility of returning to the past through the classic scenes in the film, provided that the speed of light is exceeded first. However, this is obviously contrary to current theoretical physics science. Professor Yamazaki Shiro of the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology talked about this scene in the film. Basically, it is impossible to achieve it with the current level of technology, but Yamazaki Shiro still talked about the "theoretical" implementation principle. When it comes to going back to the future or the past, we have to mention Einstein's theory of relativity, which points out that no object can reach the speed of light at present, but can only get infinitely close. Moreover, the closer it gets to the speed of light, the slower time will be. This means that humans can go back to the future for a short time. For example, if astronauts fly into space at an extremely high speed and then come back, they will find that everything on Earth has entered the future. The faster the speed, the farther into the future they will travel. ·The question is, Yamazaki Shiro speculates that the principle of "The Flash" going back to the past is that when the speed reaches the speed of light, time will stop. So if humans can exceed the speed of light, then time may flow backwards and accelerate. For example, astronauts have spent 10 years on the spacecraft and will find that only 8 years have passed on Earth when they return to Earth. The biggest problem with this theory is that it won't produce the movie plot of going back to the past and seeing your past self. The astronauts will just be older than normal earthlings. The movie plot is complete and unfounded nonsense and paradox. Of course, all of this is currently just speculation by scientists, so it’s better to just watch science fiction movies for entertainment. |
