Netflix Japanese drama "Nuclear Disaster Sun and Moon" released an official trailer to be broadcast on June 1

According to Netflix, "Atomic Disaster Sun and Moon" has a total of eight episodes, describing the critical seven days of panic after the Japanese nuclear disaster. It starts from the perspectives of the government, enterprises, and risk-taking on-site personnel, and through rigorous data collection, it truly restores the incident and tries to answer a question: "What exactly happened that day?"

The series was developed and produced by Jun Masumoto, whose works include the hit series "R.I.P." and the social issues "White Tower" and "Barefoot Gen". He also invited Masaki Nishiura, who has worked with Jun Masumoto for many years and directed "R.I.P.", and Hideo Nakata, the director of "Seven Nights Ghost Talk", to co-direct.

At 2:46 pm on March 11, 2011, a magnitude 9 earthquake struck Kurihara City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, with a maximum intensity of 7. The area 130 kilometers from the Sanriku coast was severely damaged. Many islands in Japan were reduced to ruins.
