"Kraven the Hunter" gets R-rating, Sony Pictures Spider-Man universe's first R-rated film

Sony Pictures of the United States announced on the 24th local time that its "Spider-Man" spin-off film "Kraven the Hunter" is rated R. This will be the first R-rated film in Sony Pictures' Spider-Man Universe, so stay tuned.

"Kraven the Hunter" will be released in North America on October 6. The male lead will be played by Aaron Tyra Johnson, who played Quicksilver in "Avengers". Other major roles include Fred Hechinger as Chameleon, Ariane DeBose as Calypso, Christopher Abbott as the villain foreigner, Alessandro Nivola as one of the villains, Russell Crowe and Levi Miller also starred.
