Dark Horse Comics to Release New Witcher Comic Series on May 26

The new "Witcher" comic "The Witcher: Witch's Lament", which features Geralt of Rivia as the protagonist, has been officially announced and will be published by Dark Horse Comics.

Witch's Lament was created by writer Bartosz Sztybor, artist Vanessa R. del Rey, colorist Jordie Bellaire and letterer Aditya Bidikar. Bartosz Sztybor also served as a screenwriter for developer CDPR.

As the title suggests, Witch's Lament tells the story of the tragic death of a witch, who was burned at the stake by a horrified mob. Geralt finds himself drawn into the conflict, haunted by dreams of the dead witch. It all hints at a larger conspiracy, and he himself is at stake.

"Witch's Lament" is divided into four issues, the first of which will be released on May 26, 2021. The previously released comic "Witch: Fading Memories" paperback will also be released on July 28.
