DC's upcoming solo film for The Flash is seen as a farewell to the old DCEU before James Gunn and Peter Safran's "Gods and Monsters" chapter builds a new cast. Actor Ezra Miller was just 22 years old when he was cast as Barry Allen/The Flash, and after numerous delays, The Flash finally hit theaters in June. Batman actor Ben Affleck discussed the upcoming Nike biopic Air on the Smartless podcast and revealed another major DC character appearing in the film. "I don't want to spoil it, but in one scene, I'm fighting some bad guys and I'm saved by Wonder Woman. She saves me with her Lasso of Truth. So Batman reveals some of how he really feels about his life and his job," he said on the podcast. Therefore, Gal Gadot confirmed that she will play Wonder Woman again, making a small cameo in the film. This may be the last time Gadot plays a DC role. She was selected by DC at almost the same time as Miller and first appeared on the screen in Batman v Superman. Since then he has received two solo movies and starred in Shazam! 2. |
