Liv Tyler, the actress of Ang Lee's "The Hulk", joins "Captain America 4"

According to Hollywood Reporter, Liv Tyler will star in the upcoming film Captain America: The New World Order, her first return to the Marvel Universe since Ang Lee's Hulk in 2008, where she will play scientist Betty Ross again.

Tyler plays Betty Ross, the daughter of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who was previously played by the late actor William Hurt, and is now replaced by Harrison Ford in the new film.

Anthony Mackie, who previously played the Falcon, will continue to play Sam Wilson and will be the new Captain America. The film will also include Marvel newcomer Shira Haas. Captain America 4 is directed by Julius Onah and is currently filming in Atlanta, with a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson.

Liv Tyler is best known for her roles in Armageddon (1998), the Elf Princess in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the HBO series The Leftovers and most recently the FOX series 99: Lone Star.
