Movie Trailer

"Drifting Home" is the third animated feature produced by Studio Colorido, following "Penguin Highway" and "I Want to Cry, So I Put on a Cat's Mask", which were nominated for the Best Animation Award at the 42nd Japan Academy Awards.

The film tells the story of sixth graders Hangyou and Xia Ya, who grew up in the same apartment and have always been each other's playmates. One day in midsummer, Hangyou and his friends were playing in an apartment that was about to be demolished, but suddenly they were caught in a strange vision: all they could see was a vast ocean. Can Hangyou return to his original world? The summer farewell journey begins.
