According to foreign media IGN, Sony officially announced the launch of "Venom 3" at the film industry conference CinemaCon 2022. The project has obtained the green light production license and will continue the story of "Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage". Sony did not disclose more details. As early as the end of 2021, "Venom" producer Amy Pascal confirmed that "Venom 3" did exist. At that time, she said that the project was still in the planning stage. This was the first time that Sony officially confirmed the establishment of "Venom 3".
