The manga "The Burial of Frillian" will resume serialization on March 22!

The 16th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 2023 recently revealed that the manga "The Burial of Frielian" by Yamada Chongren and Abe Tsukasa will resume in the next issue of the magazine on March 22. The manga was previously on hiatus on January 18.

The manga first began serialization in the magazine in April 2020, and the 10th volume was officially released on March 16th. The TV animation adapted from the manga will be broadcast this fall!

The manga won several awards including the 25th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award Newcomer Award in 2021, the 14th Manga Taisho Award Newcomer Award in 2021, and was nominated for the Best Shonen Manga Award at the 45th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021, and won the award at the 46th in 2022. The American Library Association's Graphic Novel and Manga Roundtable (GNCRT) included the manga in the top ten of its 2022 list of the best graphic novels for adult readers.
