According to a recent report by foreign media Deadline, the live-action movie of "Saint Seiya" announced that it will be released in North America on May 12 this year. Previously, it was scheduled for April 28 in Japan. The live-action movie of Saint Seiya is jointly produced by Toei Animation and Sony Pictures, and directed by Tomek Baginski, the director of the live-action drama The Witcher. Mackenyu Arata plays Saint Seiya, Sean Bean plays the mentor Armand Kiddo, and Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Diego Tinoco, and Mark Dacascos will also star. The live-action Saint Seiya movie will be released in Japan on April 28. The film tells the story of the awakening of the mysterious power "Cosmo" in the body of a street orphan named Seiya. He puts on the ancient Greek Pegasus armor and joins a supernatural war for the fate of Sienna, a girl who struggles to control her own divine power. |
