"Scream 6" set a new record for the best opening in the series and topped the North American weekend box office chart

"Scream 6", which was released in North America on March 10, had a good box office performance in its first weekend. The film earned 44.5 million US dollars in North America, defeating "Creed 3" (27.2 million US dollars) to become the champion of the North American weekend box office list.

According to Comscore data, Scream 6's $44.5 million opening weekend was the best opening for the series, surpassing Scream 3 in 2000.

"Scream 6" received a 9-point rating from IGN. IGN said that "Scream 6" did not reach perfection, but by highlighting the new core quartet, hitting all the right emotional elements, and increasing the level of violence to the extreme, it was very close to perfection.

It is worth mentioning that the budget of "Scream 6" is 35 million US dollars, which means that with the popularity of the movie, it has started to make a profit.

In its fourth week of release, "Ant-Man 3" earned $7 million in North American box office, bringing its domestic box office to nearly $200 million, surpassing "Ant-Man 1" ($180 million), but lagging behind "Ant-Man 2" ($216 million).
