The Sino-Japanese co-production "The Hidden Corner" will be a remake of the Japanese drama "Gold Boy"

Sina Film announced today (March 13) that the web drama "The Hidden Corner", adapted from Zijin Chen's novel "Bad Boy", will be remade into a Japanese film version titled "Gold Boy", with Masaki Okada playing the role of Zhang Dongsheng.

The director is Shusuke Kaneko (Death Note: The Last Name), the screenwriter is Takehiko Minato (Ah, Wasteland), and the film is jointly produced by TEAMJOY Co., Ltd. and Hairun Films. It mainly tells the story of three children from a small coastal town who accidentally recorded a murder while visiting a scenic spot and thus embarked on an adventure.
