Hideaki Anno's Evangelion x Shin Kamen Rider Izakaya opens in Tokyo

Hideaki Anno's Evangelion x Shin Kamen Rider Izakaya opens in Tokyo

Hideaki Anno's film is once again linked to the real world, and it also coincides with the upcoming premiere of "Shin Kamen Rider" in Japan on March 17. An izakaya themed on the "Shin Kamen Rider" and "Neon Genesis Evangelion" series will be open in Kabukicho, Tokyo from March 10 to May 28.

The izakaya will offer dishes inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion and Kamen Rider. Neon Genesis Evangelion includes a Shinji Ikari-themed Japanese Okazu appetizer set, Kaworu Nagisa-themed "deep-fried tofu in dashi", Ryoji Kaji-themed pork cutlet set, and "Noodle Completion Plan" ramen.

What’s more interesting is that some snacks have interesting names, such as the French fries named after Misato Katsuragi’s catchphrase “Service, Service!”, and the butter corn named after Asuka’s famous line “Are you an idiot?”

The Shin Kamen Rider menu has items inspired by Kamen Rider, including the "Red Scarf Ginger Heaven" themed after the iconic red scarf, and "Ichimonji Hayato's Conger Eel Heaven." The "SHOCKER Sushi" and "Typhoon Dumplings" are themed after the organization SHOCKER that appears in the film.

Also on sale are cork coasters, glasses, small plates, stickers, badges and other collaborative products.

When purchasing a drink in the store, guests can also receive a themed coaster. There are five different coasters in total, including 2 from "Neon Genesis Evangelion" (Asuka, Rei Ayanami), 2 from "Shin Kamen Rider", and one from the collaboration theme.
