Initial D sequel "MF GHOST" resumes serialization, author takes 3 months off due to illness

The Japanese manga artist Shuichi Shigeno, the author of "Initial D", has been recuperating for three months due to poor health. Today, February 20, his new work "MF GHOST" officially resumed serialization, and the 200th episode has been published. Stay tuned.

•"MF Ghost" is a racing-themed manga created by Japanese manga artist Shuichi Shigeno. It is set in the same world as Initial D and is set more than 20 years after the end of Plan D. Several characters from Initial D have already appeared in the manga.

The subtitle "New Road Speed Legend" corresponds to the "Road Speed Legend" of Initial D. The protagonist uses an underpowered car called 86. These settings are very similar to Initial D. The difference is that the competition is no longer a midnight mountain road race between private individuals, but has turned into a formal sports event. The participating cars are no longer pure Japanese cars in the Initial D era. A large number of European brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, etc. have been added to the story.
