DC may continue to let Ezra Miller play the Flash

Although the new DC movie universe currently being managed by James Gunn and Peter Safran is selecting a new group of actors, Ezra Miller, who previously played the role of The Flash, may still not be "out".

Miller previously played the character in Justice League and will reprise his role in Andy Muschietti's new summer film.

“Ezra is fully committed to his recovery,” DC Studios co-head Peter Safran told DEADLINE. “We fully support the journey he’s on right now.”

"When the time is right, when he feels he's ready to have that discussion, we'll figure out what the final approach is. But right now, he's completely focused on his recovery."

"In our conversations with him over the past few months, we've gotten the sense that he's making tremendous progress."

Ezra Miller has made headlines many times, but not for good reasons: he has been arrested twice for his actions and faces multiple charges. His film "The Flash" is still scheduled to be released on June 16, 2023. When facing the charges, he said that he was facing serious psychological problems and was currently receiving treatment.
