Today (January 28), according to the data from Lighthouse Professional Edition, as of 06:21 on January 28, the total box office of the 2023 Spring Festival period exceeded 6.8 billion, ranking second in the Chinese film history Spring Festival box office list. Among them, the total box office of the movie "Man Jiang Hong" was 2.692 billion yuan, and the total box office of "The Wandering Earth 2" exceeded 2.2 billion yuan. As of January 27, the 2023 annual box office (including pre-sales) exceeded 8 billion yuan, breaking the record of the fastest annual box office of 8 billion yuan in the Chinese film market.

The top five provinces in the Spring Festival box office are Jiangsu, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Henan, respectively. Jiangsu Province won the provincial box office championship during the Spring Festival for the third consecutive year. In addition, according to the 2023 Spring Festival period survey results of the Chinese Film Audience Satisfaction Survey, the audience satisfaction score for the Spring Festival period was 87.1 points, an increase of 1.8 points year-on-year, the highest score for the Spring Festival period since the survey began in 2015, and the third highest satisfaction for all periods in the historical survey. All six films surveyed during the period entered the "satisfactory" range (≥80 points), of which four films had a satisfaction score of more than 85 points ("Man Jiang Hong" 88.4 points, "The Wandering Earth 2" 88.0 points, "Deep Sea" 85.3 points, and "Boonie Bears: Bear Core" 85.2 points), the highest number in the Spring Festival period in previous years.
