The Office: Season 2 Cancelled

The Office: Season 2 Cancelled

Today (January 9), Shion Takeuchi, the screenwriter of the adult animated comedy "The Office", tweeted that Netflix has decided to cancel the production of the second season of the show. The screenwriter said: "Over the years, these characters have become real people for me, and I am sad that I can't watch them grow up. Reagan and Brett deserve their ending and finally find happiness. I really want to share the subsequent plot with everyone. To everyone who watched, thank you for your company along the way. Although I am very sad, I am very comforted to know that there are people who care about these characters as much as I do."

The Office is an adult animated comedy about a shadowy government and a team of eccentrics whose daily grind is to concoct conspiracies around the world. From convoluted cover-ups and secret societies to masked rave rituals, navigating the office culture of Conspicuous Corporation can be tricky, especially for socially awkward tech genius Regan Ridley. Even in a workplace filled with reptilian shapeshifters and psychic mushrooms, she's still seen as an anomaly because she believes the world can be a better place. Regan thinks that if she can handle her crazy manifesto-writing father and irresponsible co-workers, she'll eventually make a difference and grab the promotion she's always dreamed of.
