The animated series "Blade Runner: Black Lotus", jointly produced by Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, released a new trailer and announced that it will be officially launched on November 13.

The story of Blade Runner: Black Lotus is set in 2032 (between Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049). The protagonist is a bionic person named Elle, who has lost her memory and will experience anger, joy, love and other emotions for the first time with a mysterious tattoo as a clue. Rather than the gradually collapsing social background, this film will focus more on "personal struggle".

The film is directed by Ghost in the Shell co-stars Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, with Shinichiro Watanabe, the director of Cowboy Bebop, as the creative producer. The first season consists of 13 episodes, each about 30 minutes long.
