Zhang Yimou's new film "Red River" released a release date trailer and will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year

Sina Film reported today (December 27) that Zhang Yimou’s new film "Red River" released a release date trailer, officially announcing the two male protagonists Shen Teng and Yi Yang Qianxi, as well as the leading actors Zhang Yi, Lei Jiayin, Wang Jiayi, and starring Yue Yunpeng.

This film tells the story of a Jin Dynasty envoy who died in the prime minister's residence four years after Yue Fei's death, and the secret letter he carried disappeared. A soldier and the deputy commander of the personal guard battalion were involved in this huge conspiracy by chance, and they were looking for the murderer and the truth. It will be released on the first day of the Chinese New Year in 2023.
