The ET props from the classic sci-fi movie "ET the Extraterrestrial" were successfully auctioned for $2.6 million

According to foreign media reports, the ET prop robot from "ET the Extraterrestrial", one of the most classic works in the history of science fiction movies, was successfully auctioned at Julien's Auctions, an auction house in California, USA, and was sold at a sky-high price of 2.6 million US dollars.

In the film, ET is an alien botanist who came to Earth but was left behind by a spaceship that left in a hurry and had to stay on Earth. He could not go home and gradually became weak. In the eyes of adults, he was funny, ridiculous, and even dangerous, but kind-hearted children thought he was great, smart and cute.

The ET prop being auctioned this time is a full-scale robot that participated in the actual filming of the movie. With the technology at the time, this robot was carefully built to be as vivid as today's high-tech robots.

Other movie props were also successfully auctioned, including ET's model, which sold for $125,000, and the bicycle used in the escape, which sold for $115,000.
