The comic-adapted movie "Night Parade" has new casts: Buddha and Wakatsuki Yumi

The official website of the live-action comedy film adapted from the Japanese manga "Night Parade" created by Hikaru Nakamura announced two new actors today (October 20).

The famous "Buddha" actor Jiro Sato and former member of the Nogizaka46 idol group and current model Wakatsuki Yumi will star in the film, playing the boss and female colleague of Pawson (a spoof of Lawson), the male protagonist's workplace before joining "Black Santa".

The comic tells the story of the protagonist Hino, who has never been to college and has no stable job. He has been working in a convenience store, but one day he suddenly met a "black Santa Claus" and became the person who provided bad kids with disappointing gifts. The film will be directed by Yuichi Fukuda, and the actors also include Ryo Yoshizawa, Kanna Hashimoto, Daishi Nakagawa and Keisuke Watanabe.

The live-action film "Night Parade" is scheduled to be released on December 23, 2022.
