The new Silent Hill movie "Return to Silent Hill" will start filming in February next year and wrap up at the end of the year

Today (September 29), authoritative film critic and film and television journalist Alan Jones tweeted that he had communicated with director Christopher Gans. The new Silent Hill film will officially start shooting in February 2023 and is expected to be completed later in 2023. The film is named "Return to Silent Hill".

The cast of the film has not yet been announced. The film is directed by French director Christophe Gans, who previously shot a film in the series that was released in 2006. At the time, the film received negative reviews from most professional film critics, but fans of the series responded enthusiastically to this adaptation. According to previous reports, Director Gans claimed that the film storyboard work has been completed, and some elements of the film were influenced by Hideo Kojima's Silent Hill demo "PT".
