According to the official news released by the New York Comic Con, the trailer of this movie will be released at the New York Comic Con on October 6. This will be the first time that audiences and players have seen the screen of this CG animated movie since Nintendo announced the film in 2018.

The CG animated film "Super Mario Bros." is a film adapted from Nintendo's most famous game Mario, and is jointly produced by Nintendo and the animation company Illumination. Nintendo's legendary game producers Shigeru Miyamoto and Chris Meledandri will serve as co-producers. Nintendo has previously confirmed that in the Mario movie, Chris Pratt plays Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach, Charlie Day plays Luigi, Jack Black plays Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key plays Toad, and Seth Rogen plays Donkey Kong.

The Super Mario Bros. movie was originally scheduled to be released in late 2022, but has been postponed to April 7, 2023.
