Recently, HBO has narrowed the window for the release of the second season of the series, confirming that it will be released in spring 2025. At the 2025 program preview conference, Casey Bloys, CEO of HBO and Max content, revealed to foreign media IGN that the second season of "The Last of Us" will be launched next spring. The second season of The Last of Us has seven episodes, two fewer than the first season. The second season has a more complex storyline and will truly present Ellie's adventures in the game.
