Sony's movie schedule adjusted: "Insidious 5" is scheduled, "Spider-Madame" is postponed

Sony announced the latest release dates for its films, including "Insidious 5" and "Mrs. Spider," a collaboration with Marvel.

The release date of "Spider-Mrs." was adjusted from next summer to next October. In addition, Sony also postponed an unannounced Sony/Marvel Pictures work, which was originally scheduled to be released in October 2023.

"Insidious 5" is directed by the series star Patrick Wilson, which is also his directorial debut, and he will continue to play the role of Josh Lambert. This time the story takes place 10 years after the previous one. The little boy Dalton Lambert (played by Ty Simpkins) has grown up and is going to college.

So far, the four films in the Insidious series have grossed $542 million worldwide. James Wan will continue to serve as producer this time.
