"The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings" New Stills Elf King Gil-galad Appears

Recently, the new stills of the Lord of the Rings series "The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings" were released, and the Elf King Gilgalad appeared. He held the spear Iros, and "his kingdom has the last beauty and freedom."

Gil-galad was the sixth and last High King of the Noldor in Middle-earth. He fought alongside Elendil, King of Men, and their combined attack dealt a fatal blow to Sauron, and both men paid with their lives.

The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings is adapted from Tolkien's novel of the same name. The plot is set thousands of years before the stories of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It is directed by J.A. Bayona and Wayne Yeh, starring Lenny Henry, Peter Mullan, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, etc. The first season will premiere on September 2, with a total of 8 episodes.
