Unopened videotape of classic movie "Back to the Future" sold for nearly $80,000

According to foreign media reports, an unopened VHS tape of the classic movie "Back to the Future" produced in 1986 was sold at a new high price of nearly 80,000 US dollars. According to the American Heritage Auction Company that hosted the auction, this is the highest price ever paid for an unopened VHS tape.

•"Back to the Future" is a science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. It was released in the United States on July 3, 1985. The story tells that after Dr. Brown was killed by terrorists, high school student Martin drove a time machine from 1985 back to 1955, met his father, and tried to change the future.

In addition to being nominated for the Oscars for Best Screenplay, Best Sound and Best Music, the film also won the Oscar for Best Sound Editing and was awarded three Saturn Awards by the Science Fiction & Horror Film Society of America for Best Special Effects, Best Science Fiction Film and Best Actor.

•The original owner of this precious VHS tape is the actor who played the villain Biff in "Back to the Future". It has been untouched since it was produced in 1986. The original owner said that he wanted to preserve it in this VHS specification, but now he can't find the player.
