Henry Cavill to star in new film The Rosie Project: Searching for the perfect wife

Recently, according to foreign media Collider, Henry Cavill will star in the new romantic comedy "The Rosie Project". The film is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Graeme Simsion and has been in the works for many years. In 2015, Jennifer Lawrence was expected to play the leading role.

The Rosie Project is written and directed by Stephen Falk. It tells the story of a university professor who is frustrated in love and carefully prepares a questionnaire to find a wife, but meets an unconventional woman who does not meet any of his requirements but may be the most suitable woman for him.

Cavill plays genetics professor Don Tillman, who has never been on a second date but now plans to fall in love. Tillman, who has Asperger's syndrome (autism spectrum disorder), knows exactly what he's looking for in a partner and designs a "Wife Project" to find the perfect partner: a 16-page, scientifically validated survey that filters out drinkers, smokers, and latecomers.

Wild, chaotic, and carefree, Paolozzie is the polar opposite of Tillman, and he quickly crosses her off his list. When she needs help finding her biological father, the two connect and unexpectedly fall in love.
