"Minions 2: The Rise of Gru" official trailer released on July 1

Illumination Entertainment/Universal's hit animated sequel "Minions: The Rise of Gru" released an official trailer, which is full of joy and laughter.

This film tells the origin story of the "evil" Gru. It is directed by Kyle Balda and Brad Abelson, who directed the previous film Despicable Me 3. Steve Carell continues to voice Gru. Julie Andrews and Russell Brand also return. New members include Michelle Yeoh, who voices the highly skilled acupuncturist Master Chow, and Taraji P. Henson, who voices Belle Bottom, the leader of the six villains. The villain group also includes Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, etc. It will be released in North America on July 1.
