Jurassic World 3 is expected to exceed $50 million in its first overseas week, with South Korea leading the way

The Hollywood blockbuster "Jurassic World 3" opened in 15 overseas markets this week. As of Friday, the film has earned a total of 25.9 million US dollars in overseas markets, and the industry predicts that the first week box office in overseas markets will exceed 50 million US dollars.

In 2015, "Jurassic World" had a box office of 47.3 million US dollars in the same period, and in 2018, "Jurassic World 2" had a box office of 59.8 million US dollars in the same period.

The overseas markets where "Jurassic World 3" will open this week include South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, etc.

South Korea is the leader among the 15 overseas markets that opened first. Jurassic World 3 was released in South Korea on June 1, with a box office of 6 million US dollars on the first day, ranking fourth in the first-day performance of Korean film openings, and also the best opening day performance since the epidemic. As of Friday this week, Jurassic World 3 has grossed 8.4 million US dollars in South Korea (South Korean local films are not helpless against Jurassic World 3. The box office of Crime City 2 starring Ma Dong-seok is very close to that of Jurassic World 3, although the former was released much earlier than the latter).

In Mexico, Jurassic World 3 earned $2.9 million on Friday, accounting for 84% of the local market share. Italy has contributed a total of $1.9 million to Jurassic World 3, Hong Kong, China contributed $1.4 million, and Brazil contributed $1.3 million.

"Jurassic World 3" will be released in markets such as North America and mainland China on June 10, and the film will reach its real box office climax next week.
